What we do.

We clean and refurbish blinds 'in situ' and, trading as Verti King, are unique in this respect in the United Kingdom. This means that we offer a valuable service, on your premises, with minimum inconvenience and disruption to your daily routine, at a fraction of the cost ' off-site' cleaning would cost. As we carry an extensive range of replacement parts, we can replace damaged or broken components, where required, whilst cleaning the blinds, thus reducing the need for the expensive replacement of whole units. If necessary, we can supply single replacement vertical blind slats, assuming the fabric is still available, and we will repair tracks, when possible. 

We also supply and fit, Venetian - metal and wooden slats, roller, cassetted roller, Roman, roof blinds (eg Velux*), pleated, and of course, vertical blinds. Own logo blinds are also available.

Our experienced staff will advise you on the most appropriate blind for your needs, and will discuss with you the options available in tracks and different materials, and the suitability of use in specific locations.

Why should you clean rather than replace blinds?

The most obvious reason is cost. It is considerably cheaper to clean the blinds and preventative maintenance is always preferable to replacement as it is more cost effective.

Companies use Verti King for Health and Safety reasons rather than cosmetic reasons. Health and Safety guidelines strongly recommend a regular cleaning programme for all soft furnishings. Vertical blinds attract pollutants such as benzene and allergy triggers like dust mites, pollen and dead skin.

Nicotine removal can be carried out extremely effectively by cleaning and this is one of the reasons that we have a number of bowling, golf and social clubs amongst our customers who regularly use our services.

We can, if required, add a fragrance, treat with fire retardent or treat with a Bacterial agent. Further details of the advantages of these treatments available on request.

We recommend vertical blinds are cleaned annually to ensure that the blinds are kept in a hygenic manner.
